When I went up on deck of the Costa Concordia early in the morning to get a look at Rhodes, I was surprised to see the walls, turrets and castle around the city. It had a Disneyland-look I didn't expect. For a cruise

Agios Pavlos Beach

Two tiny beaches and a little chapel at make up all the scenery in the enclose of Agios Pavlos. This is where people from the upper part of Lindos come to swim; those from the lower part go to Lindos Beach But there are quite a few foreign tourists here as well. Those who want sun beds, food and island music go to it organised part of the beach on the right side. Those who seek solitude turn to the left. Sand and pebbles, with rocks from which to dive into the green water.

You can only go so far in your car, and then have to walk. Also come here from Lindos on foot. Those of you who love movies can ask one of the boat men who moor here to take you to the Lakoi, straits where a number of scenes for The Guns of Navarone were shot. (50 km from Rhodes town)
