Ialissos, Overall a good family destination

Written by Bryan
We stayed in Ialissos. If I were on my honeymoon or single, I would choose another island (or perhaps I would choose another part of Rhodes), but for a family with small children, or a wind/kite surfer, or people who don't want to be in a total party spot, Ialissos works just fine.

Kalithea is not so much a village as a resort based around the stunning beaches and world famous spa baths it is perfectly situated on the eastern coast of Rhodes, 2kms before the lively resort of Faliraki. Kalithea is relatively quiet, although offers the visitor an extraordinary amount of entertainment choice. The beaches, bays, coves and caves offer something for each member of the family. The beaches are well organized and offer canteens, restaurants, toilets and umbrellas. The rock pools and caves offer endless exploratory promise to all youngsters and for the more adventurous, daily underwater diving trips can be arranged. Water sports are on offer too, but should you wish to lie back and relax, a more perfect spot would be hard to find.
