Kalathos Beach

Sand and tiny pebbles as far as the eye can see. Even on the national Greek holiday of 15th August, when every beach in the country is packed with people, you'll find a place here just for you.

The vast beach stretches along the shore for 4 kilometres some parts are commercially run, others are free. It's popular mostly with those who wish to keep a low profile, and also with the local people during the high season. A canteen, some tavernas and a supermarket can be found on the road running along the shore. (45 km from Rhodes town)
