There is a an international standard 18 hole, PAR-73 GOLF COURSE (6,2 km or 6.800 yards) designed by the British eminent golf course architect Donald Harradine.  It is located in AFANDOU BAY, 18 km from Rhodes town, on the road to Lindos. The course is open to the public, amateurs and professionals.

The trees, fairways and greens are laid with various different types of grasses selected to keep the grass as green as possible throughout the year.
The golf course is open all year round.  Admission fees are nominal and caddies, caddy carts, golf clubs and balls, as well as instructions are available at moderate hire charges.
Climate conditions: The sky above Rhodes has been called 'The great blue dome of the Aegean', and it is the combination of this ever present sun and the mild climate that gives Rhodes its special appeal. Winter temperatures are in the 10oC/50oF and 15oC/60oF. In spring the weather is blissful, the flowers are in bloom and the island is at its most ravishingly beautiful.

Afandou Golf offers the challenge of a championship golf course whilst enjoying the pleasures of the Rhodes countryside and the spectacular Afandou Beach.
